An exciting Planning Manager job has just become available at a leading American multinational fast-food company with well-known reputable restaurant brands. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this is a role for a qualified individual. About the Planning Manager Role:
In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for strategy and financial planning to lead franchise partners to deliver short and long-term revenue, profit and margin growth targets, channel development, new store development, and strategic project planning and execution. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely and accurate financial and management reports and presentations for Leadership Team (requires liaising with external business partners to obtain necessary data)
• Prepare and present to Leadership Team and franchise partners of business issues/strategies for improved profitability
• Build know-how, identify “best practices” internally and promote the execution of such practices with franchise partners to drive revenue and margin improvement through cross-functional collaboration with all internal functional divisions and franchise leadership teams
• Support the processes of Quarter forecasts, Annual Operating Plan development and Leader Performance (YLB) goal setting
• Partner and support internal stakeholders (marketing, market development, operations, etc.) in performing analysis, participating in cross-functional projects to grow the business
• Supports cross-functional teams consisting of team members and franchise partners in the identification of business opportunities and the development of strategies to deliver improved performance, directly or indirectly, for the Asia Pacific region. Provides project-based support to broader business covering financial, operational, and/or strategic opportunities

To succeed in the Planning Manager role, you must have a strategic mindset and great communication skills. Key Requirements:

• Good degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent quantitative majors
• Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in audit and business advisory, consulting or FP&A in large/listed corporations with an emphasis on strategy, planning, M&A, budgeting, analysis, performance evaluation, forecasting and costing
• Prior experience managing cross-functionally is highly regarded
• Strong strategic thinker, conceiving ideas to challenge the status quo while balancing attention to detail and comfortable with day-to-day issues
• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• Proficiency in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365/Hyperion), data analytics and visualisation tools (Microsoft Power BI) is critical for success, and has strong technical skills in Excel financial modelling and analysis
• A team player, high energy with strong work ethic and integrity, self-directed, conscientious with eye for detail and accuracy, possess excellent analytical and problem solving, has strong communications and interpersonal skills, and is motivated to meet deadlines, targets and objectives
