Platform Delivery Manager

Singapore

As a Barclays Platform Delivery Manager, you will support the Singapore Private Bank COO in delivery of key initiatives relating to the Private Bank Singapore platform alongside various governance and oversight responsibilities. This will involve working closely with stakeholders locally and across Private Bank and colleagues in the 2nd and 3rd line of defence to deliver robust risk management capability whilst driving continuous improvement in the application of the enterprise risk management framework (ERMF)a, projects.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?

• Assisting in the design, and execution of the strategy for the APAC market
• Providing support to the business heads in the delivery of their commercial objectives, ensuring a smooth operation of the business environment
• Enhancing Governance and Management Reporting for the business helping to drive local oversight for business management
• Achieving timeliness, consistency, quality, completeness and accuracy in reporting to stakeholders
• Providing support as well as strategic guidance when required, of the wider business objectives and goals
• Ensuring that fixed and varied costs are managed appropriately in line with business requirements
• Driving compliance with Group policies, regulatory requirements, and social expectations whilst embedding conduct considerations in daily activities
• Supporting the business to deliver improvements in client satisfaction scores, providing management information in order to monitor improvements

What weaAEURA(TM)re looking for:

• Experienced individual, who is well versed in Operations, Business Management, Governance, Risk, Control, and able to apply this within a Private Bank / Financial Services context
• Commercial awareness, excellent relationship building skills, and knowledge of control assessment techniques
• Analytical / numeracy skills, ability to deliver valuable insight, proficient in Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Excellent organizational and planning skills and ability to work under pressure with a heavy workload
• Experience in a Private Bank/Wealth Management environment
• Experience in an Operations/Platform Delivery/Business management role or function
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
