At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Project Manager to join our Global Front Office Quants and Analytics team.
As a Quant Delivery Manager, you are an experienced project manager. You will be an individual contributor who will be a key member of the Global Front Office Quants and Analytics team and would be working on the Sky platform build.
The responsibilities will include delivering solutions, which are part of the projects being delivered by the global team. The role requires product knowledge in one or more of following asset classes, to understand and implement Pricing, Risk, P&L and VaR analytics for the various desks in ANZ Markets business:
1. Interest Rate
2. FX
3. Commodity
4. Credit derivatives
Your role includes Sky application build/re-design/optimization and application transformation projects, along with 3rd Level support of the Sky application. It could also involve one or more aspects of design and implementation of distributed systems, multi-tier architecture, grid computing and cloud computing.
Your immediate deliverables will be an uplift of pricing, risk analytics for Interest Rate Derivatives focusing on the RFR transition. This includes uplift of Excel tools and transition to web-based server-side risk management tools.
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
The role requires technical skills in one or more of C++, C# or Java technologies, as well as software development lifecycle and processes involved (e.g. testing, code reviews, source control and issue tracking).
Relevant experience delivering functionality to Front Office Trading teams is a must.
Experience in managing stakeholder and prioritizing several high priority initiatives is ideal.
Experience with leading junior staff across multiple geographies and time zones is required
Extensive knowledge of regulatory framework and requirements in the countries ANZ Markets operates in.
Demonstrated ANZ leadership competencies including ability to manage change, deliver results, exercise sound judgement, broaden perspective, build relationships, develop self and others and lead and empower.
