Job Description

In the capacity of a Port Captain at our shipping company, your primary focus will be overseeing cargo operations for our vessels in the Southeast Asia Region. Your role entails ensuring strict adherence to our company\xe2\x80\x99s standards while efficiently coordinating and expediting the entire process.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless cargo operations.
2. Provide guidance and supervision to stevedores, ensuring compliance with company standards.
3. Thoroughly document the entire operation process.
4. Offer technical guidance for loading and discharging operations when our company Fleet vessels call ports in South East Asia, and if necessary, be present at these operations on-site.
5. Work closely with the local agent and fleet vessel operators to safely dispatch vessels in port.
6. Prepare weekly and monthly management reports and follow instructions from the shipping & operations division and company leaders.
7. Undertake any other assigned tasks as required.

Requirements:

\xe2\x80\x93 Hold a minimum of a Diploma/Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or possess equivalent experience.
\xe2\x80\x93 Have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar industry.
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are crucial.
\xe2\x80\x93 Possess a Class 3 driving license and have access to a personal vehicle (preferred).
\xe2\x80\x93 Must be a Singaporean citizen or PR with a non-Chinese passport.
