Job Title: Portfolio Manager - Value CreationLocation: SingaporePosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Portfolio Manager to join a private equity team. This role is pivotal in driving value creation, overseeing valuation processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across our portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a Big 4 accounting firm, with extensive experience in financial analysis, valuation, and portfolio management.Key Responsibilities:Value Creation:

• Lead and execute value creation initiatives across portfolio companies, focusing on operational improvements, revenue enhancement, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to develop and implement strategic growth plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against value creation goals.

Valuation:

• Conduct detailed valuations of portfolio companies, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, market comparables, and precedent transactions.
• Provide valuation support during acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in valuation methodologies.

Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements for portfolio companies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Work closely with finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Provide insights into financial performance and assist in the preparation of investor reports.

Portfolio Management:

• Manage the overall performance of portfolio companies, including monitoring financial health and operational effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio company executives and key stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and investment committees on portfolio performance.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks related to value creation and financial reporting.
• Conduct financial due diligence on potential investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Proven experience in valuation, financial analysis, and portfolio management
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and valuation methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with portfolio company management teams and internal stakeholders.
