Job Description
The Laboratory of Synthetic Biology and Genome Editing Therapeutics at the Genome Institute of Singapore is seeking talented and ambitious Postdocs to join its team.
The successful candidates will develop new technologies for (i) nanopore sequencing (ii) scalable error-corrected DNA/RNA/XNA synthesis and assembly, (iii) directed evolution and protein engineering of nucleic-acid modifying enzymes, and/or (iv) developing machinery that controls single-molecular reactions. The successful candidates will be part of a team of vibrant and talented scientists with diverse research interests and capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines
- Excellent expertise with molecular biology, nanopore sequencing, programming, micro/nanofludics, and/or robotics is a pre-requisite
- Demonstrated independence and creativity
- Ability to generate intellectual property is highly desirable
