The Company
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to support our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, to elevate their business intelligence capabilities across the APAC region.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data visualization, data modelling, and stakeholder collaboration.
The Role

• Design, build, and maintain user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports for various business functions.
• Optimize data models and report performance for scalability, responsiveness, and usability across executive and regional teams.
• Develop advanced DAX measures and Power Query (M) transformations to support complex business rules and KPIs.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect and cross-functional teams to align on data modelling, governance, and architecture best practices.
• Maintain and enhance Power BI data models and views in line with organizational standards.
• Support the creation of tables and materialized/standard views within Snowflake's gold layer for efficient data processing.
• Perform regular data quality checks and implement validation rules to ensure data accuracy across dashboards.
• Monitor dashboard performance and troubleshoot data or reporting issues proactively.
• Document data flows, transformation logic, and dashboard configurations for version control and knowledge sharing.
• Deliver training, technical support, and knowledge transfer sessions to internal stakeholders across APAC.
• Contribute to agile project delivery and continuously improve BI assets based on business feedback.

Your Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. * 3-4+ years of hands-on experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Service, including publishing and workspace management.
• Advanced skills in DAX and Power Query (M) for building KPIs and complex data transformations.
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (fact/dimension schemas) and data warehouse structures.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, preferably for Snowflake.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail in data accuracy and dashboard design.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement, training, and support.
