Description: The project shall include support to the Systems Development Team in Development of Reports, Dashboards and Data Visualization using PowerBI. Projects are classified under the following categories:

• One Emerson and Manila 2024 Dashboards and Reports
• One Manila Dashboard Phase 2

• Finance and Procurement Projects
• EMSS Finance Dashboard Consolidation
• Report Allocation Dashboard
• YTD Report (Budget Reporting)
• EMSS S&OP Project and Dashboard

• GFS-Manila Projects
• Bank Reconciliation Project (GFS-M)
• GFS-Manila Integrated Dashboard
• Intercompany Statement Reconciliation

Responsibilities
Duty 1: Metrics, reporting and Analytics

• Extracts/generates quantitative information from a single or multiple tool (Business Intelligence Tools - i.e.: Tableau, Toad, Oracle, Power BI, etc.) and/or from databases using standard queries (basic coding)

Data Gathering

• Extract quantitative information from a single or multiple tool and/or from databases using standard queries
• Communicates with resource person to get input/raw data needed for report generation

Data Manipulation

• Cleans extracted data using pre-defined guidelines or instructions
• Formats extracted data based on expected report output
• Calculates data by using available fields within the gathered information
• Consolidates and combines extracted data from multiple resources using automated tools

Data Analysis

• Gathers and analyzes report requirements from stakeholders. Identify and provide solution to general inquiries
• Analyzes stakeholder requirements from an existing report and provides improvement and recommendation based on customer requests
• Evaluates objective/charter and recommends non-standard reports/workarounds based on customer requirement and/or gathered data and analysis

Reporting

• Creates reports based on standard templates and/or tests dynamic reports based on the designed format
• Conceptualizes report design contents and methodologies based from gathered and/or analysis for static or dynamic reports
• Provide report recommendations and validate with stakeholders.

Duty 2: Project Support

• Attends scope reviews to learn what the project request is all about
• Assist project manager and quality engineers in gathering, analyzing and clarifying customer requirements
• Creates prototypes. Mock-ups using standard project templates and tools
• Writes codes based on specifications defined. Participates in cross-functional testing and peer reviews
• Follows set coding standards, code sharing and design guidelines of the team
• Develops simple and complex modules or basic to advance functionalities
• Reports own progress back to the project tracking tool
• Sets up development environment, configures servers, create database and project solutions, necessary permissions, code repository and populates project tracking tool.
• Sets up User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Implements the necessary fix or improvement for basic functionalities based on the UAT results
• Creates user manuals using standard templates of the team
• Other duties assigned by the project manager and/or Systems Development Lead.
