Responsible for supervising pre-construction activities for a large-scale data center fit-out project, requiring detailed planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication for successful execution.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop a detailed preconstruction plan in collaboration with the project team, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
• Site Evaluation: Assess infrastructure, utilities, and environmental factors at the site for the data center fit-out.
• Budget Oversight: Manage the preconstruction budget from design to handover, overseeing procurement and closeout while ensuring compliance with DLP.
• Risk Management: Identify construction-related risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Compliance Assurance: Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals as required.
• Vendor and Contractor
• Selection: Collaborate with the Commercial Team to choose suitable contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Design Validation: Review architectural and engineering models for alignment with technical specifications.
• Schedule Management: Create and oversee the preconstruction schedule, ensuring timely task completion.
• Safety and Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to uphold safety standards during preconstruction.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication with project stakeholders, including Meta, consultants, bidders, and subcontractors.
• Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources, particularly discipline QS within the preconstruction team.
• Environmental Oversight: Supervise environmental impact and sustainability efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant schemes like Green Mark and Lead.
• Technology Integration: Stay updated on technological advancements for future planning integration.
• Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of all preconstruction activities, contracts, and communications for reference and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor\'s degree in construction management or quantity surveying.
• Demonstrate over 10 years of proven expertise in overseeing preconstruction tasks.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of data center infrastructure, electrical systems, and HVAC technology
• Exhibit robust project management skills and proficiency in management software.
• Showcase excellent leadership and communication capabilities.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Showcased budgeting and financial management prowess.
