We are currently based at Metropolis, Bouna Vista, Singapore.

Purpose:

Applies expert preservation knowledge and seasoned project / site experience to ensure operational excellence in application and execution of all asset and equipment preservation activities across all projects through the entire life cycle of EPCI.

Responsabilities:

• The Preservation specialist provides leadership in the development of the preservation planning process to ensure that all project assets is taken care for and maintained in accordance with manufacturers specifications from the time the equipment is fabricated and ready to ship to the site until the facility is turned over to the client or operations team.
• Possesses excellent understanding of implementation of Preservation Plan for offshore based projects.
• Ability to Identify preservation resource requirements at key project stages, capable of developing preservation manning plans.
• Develop Preservation Management Procedures, preservation Work Lists and allocation principles, standardize Preservation Activities Tracking and Reporting tools for internal and external project compliance.
• Verifying that preservation activities across projects are thoroughly and safely staffed, planned, executed, and tracked for certification/ recording.
• Monitor proper preservation database population for projects.
• Liaise with Engineering / Suppliers / Sub-Contractors to determine optimal preservation requirement to adopt and to implement for all projects.
• Write work method statements for preservation product and service applications.
• Participate in preservation audits and health checks.
• Plan and perform surveillances and reporting any lack of preservation, or bad practice found about storage and handle any material of the project.
• Identify Gaps in Preservation activities identified during audits and assist in expediting solution.
• Responsible for providing best practice and consultation on preservation product selection and their application to the project preservation teams.
• Collect lessons learned from ongoing projects, accountable for its root-cause-analysis, transfer the information to other ongoing project, and develop a standard document/procedure to avoid future reoccurrence.
• Ability to learn, understand and apply changing technologies related to application of preservation.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, leadership and expertise on all matters relating to the preservation, care and physical integrity of all equipment\'s to project preservation team.
• Provide adequate guidance in control use, storage and safe disposal of preservation chemicals and materials
• Willingness to work and train others in a team environment, assisting other multi-cultural and interdepartmental team members
• Coordinates with the project Preservation Coordinators to ensure implementation of preservation program for the project.
• Ability to problem solve with or without the guidance of senior leadership
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering with 14 to 17 years work experience (or) Master Degree in Engineering with 12 to 15 years work experience with minimum of 10 years work experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s). Also Diploma in Engineering with 17 to 20 years work experience (making the equivalent to degree) can also be considered.
• Specialist knowledge of at least Three MODEC or related project line.
• 5-10 years direct \xe2\x80\x9chands on\xe2\x80\x9d experience in equipment maintenance and preservation in oil and gas processing is required.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities is essential and offshore work experience is an advantage.
• Must be experienced in carrying out preservation of multi disciplines:- Electrical & Instrumentation, mechanical, rotating & static equipment, turbomachinery, piping etc.
• High safety awareness is mandatory. A good knowledge of managing simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) is essential.
• Significant knowledge of multiple technologies, projects and applications. Working knowledge of competing and alternative technologies.
• Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to System Completion, Project Management (MS Project / P6) and General computer literacy (MS office).
• Shows evidence of good Organizing / Management skills.
• Demonstrate ability to take lead.
• Good communication skill
