Collaborate with ISD to set up PMS and Dry-docking software in the office and onboard ships.
Configure data according to company work processes as assigned.
Conduct system testing, maintenance, and periodic reviews.
Develop and maintain a PMS Handbook to manage and update PMS data.
Create and verify PMS data following the PMS Handbook.
Build databases for new vessel additions following the PMS Handbook.
Work with ISD to remove obsolete PMS data.
Ensure the validity of PMS software licenses in collaboration with ISD.
Monitor daily PMS data replication and resolve replication issues with ISD.
Modify (add/delete/edit) PMS records and configuration based on changes in equipment and maintenance routines.
Define PMS user access rights, update the PMS Handbook, and align user access rights with ISD.
Collaborate with ISD to update (add/delete/edit) user records.
Adjust software configuration to accommodate changes in work processes.
Monitor software performance with ISD to minimize downtime.
Provide feedback to the PMS software maker and ISD on system gaps and improvements.
Set up PMS interfaces with other departments as needed.
Monitor interface activity log files daily to ensure smooth operation.
Work with ISD to minimize downtime due to system upgrades and transaction errors.
Collaborate with the Training Manager to:
define PMS user tasks according to user roles. Provide PMS User Guides for each user role. Offer PMS software training for respective user roles. Update User Guides and training in line with PMS software upgrades. Conduct training for sea personnel onboard vessels.Requirements:
Diploma or COC in Marine Engineering / Nautical Studies or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Sailing experience or relevant job experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Min 2 years experience as a PMS Engineer.
Experiences in managing ship-management enterprise software, including PMS, crewing, and procurement.
Good understanding of ship machinery and maintenance.
