Main Responsibilities To support students with individual learning needs to achieve their full potential and access the five elements of UWCSEA's Learning Programme. Working with students in classrooms and withdrawn small groups, in the areas of Academic, Social Emotional and Behavioural Support. Collaborate and support class teachers to provide differentiated programmes, write individualised plans and conduct parent meetings for individuals and groups of students. Support leadership, teachers and other school staff in identifying root causes of student learning challenges and ways to meet students' needs. Provide coaching to staff to support the implementation of in-class support plans including workshops. Work closely with and support families in establishing positive home-school communication. Work collaboratively in a specific grade level, the learning support team and the wider primary school team. Has a proven track record of working with pupils with additional needs and delivering a personalised curriculum. Is flexible, proactive and hands-on.
