What the role is
Your responsibility includes implementing urban and architectural requirements in building and/or township development projects mainly in the local market.
What you will be working on
Key responsibilities include preparation and submission of detailed designs, tender drawings, technical specifications and documents to regulatory authorities for approval when required. As an Architect QP, you will ensure good coordination of staff with clients, allied disciplines consultants and local authorities for design development, statutory submission, project execution, co-ordination and on-site construction supervision until completion and handing over. You will also supervise staff involved in project management and construction operations, monitor construction schedules, and preparing work progress evaluation.
What we are looking for
The Candidate should possess a good degree in Architecture from a recognised University with 10 to 15 years of relevant working experience. He/she also needs to be a registered Architect with the Board of Architects of Singapore. He should have a flair for building design, good design conceptualisation, presentation and negotiation skills. In addition, he should possess good knowledge of local building codes and regulations, good technical detailing, as well as specification documentation. He must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work across disciplines, and with multidisciplinary project teams. Experience in city/town planning, urban design, competency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and particularly BIM Revit/ARCHICAD & VDC methodology, would be an advantage. The candidate is expected to work independently as a team leader of a design team.
