As a member of the operations team, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. This role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore. Job Duties: Conduct testing of environmental samples of wastewater, trade effluent. Leaching test of building materials. Suitability test of water Conduct chemical analysis using wet chemistry methods, HACH & APHA methodologies as well as ICP, TOC, IC, FTIR, UV_VIS instrumentation. Ensure reagents preparation, QA/QC and test methods are in compliance with ISO 17025 requirement. Upkeep equipment calibration, maintenance, and verification for lab quality management compliance. Perform sampling & on site testing when required and maintain 5S, Lab Safety Management and Chemical Inventory. Ensure chemicals and consumables availability and request for replenishment when necessary Positively relate and contribute to a multicultural working environment while solving technical issues related to both client and operational queries in a timely fashion and able to discharge duties with a strong awareness of budget, timeline, and resource management for designated projects Influence technical and management teams, motivate team members, delegate and drive and timely/quality decision making while demonstrating technical and operational skills that include customer focus commitment to safety, quality management and influencing skills including negotiation and teamwork Interpret regulatory requirements and specifications and articulate and discuss these with both external clients and operations Responsible for implementation of data integration systems and using data analytics to identify trends, recognizing problem scenarios, and recommending countermeasures Monitor effectiveness of investigations, ensure actions are implemented and assess trends to identify improvements in methods Job Requirements: Minimum B.Sc. in chemistry or science discipline from a reputable university along with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior supervisory or technical position along with substantial experience in delivering chemistry projects related to technology transfer and efficient best practices Strong English communication skills along with professional presentation skills Hands on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) used in commercial analytical laboratories Proficient in using equipment eg IC, ICPMS, ICPOES, GC-MS could be added advantage Substantial & demonstrable organic analytical chemistry testing experience gained at a senior level from working in either a high-volume commercial test laboratory or other reputable organization to ISO/ IEC 17025 accreditation standards and able to manage multi-lab proficiency testing programs Ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed HOW TO APPLY: Interested applicants, please submit your updated resume to [HIDDEN TEXT] Please state your availability, current & expected salaries for processing purpose.
