What will you do?


1. HVAC, Fire Protection and Mechanical System Design

• Liaising with customer\xe2\x80\x99s project teams, consultants and internal teams to understand the project requirement/scope/needs
• Convert the project scope into solution to successfully meet the customer needs as well as create competitive advantage through right design and selection
• Ensure the solution compliance to the local standards, regulation, codes and safety requirements
• Create all required documentation in terms of capacity calculations, design calculations, drawings, layouts, specifications, block schematics, solution presentation, solution value proposition, compliance table, etc.
• Solution design should ensure the successful project implementation and customer satisfaction
• Provide engineering support to the team during installation in terms of process, tools required, procedures, regulatory compliance, Dos and Don\xe2\x80\x99ts, technical interpretations and support, and ensure quality

2. Bid Management

• Provide bid management support for solution bid proposal preparation. Provide complete BOQ/BOM for the solution
• Identify and qualify vendors, provide first cut costing
• Participate in customer meetings to communicate the project proposal status and any roadblocks
• Escalate any roadblocks during proposal creation to internal stakeholders. Provide regular reports on proposal status to Country Solution Manager
• Ensure compliance to Schneider project processes, methodologies and procedures during bid approval

3. Customer Care and Quality

• Ensure the successful compliance of solution to project scope by offering high quality solution
• Deliver services to achieve highest customer satisfaction during pre-sales stages
• Escalate any customer issues to the Solution Manager and be responsible to ensure its closure
• Identify the improvements needed, document it and communicate to the respective owners and stakeholders

4. Partner Management

• Responsible for identifying and qualifying third party service providers during project solution design
• Monitor and communicate the performance of partners
• Ensure compliance to Schneider processes, methodology and code of conduct by subcontractors and partners
• Select the partners to achieve higher customer satisfaction

5. Training and Development

• Responsible for providing the training to internal staff as well as to the partners to build competency in delivering successful services to customers
• Update and educate yourself with the current applicable technologies, tools, processes and standards

Qualifications:


What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 12 years in Engineering or related discipline, particularly in mission critical applications and consulting engagement skills
• In depth understanding of HVAC and mechanical system design
• In depth understanding of mechanical system components such as Chillers, CRACs, Heat Rejection Systems, Piping, Pumps, Valves & Piping, plumbing and Sanitary etc.
• In depth understanding of fire protection components and systems such as wet and pre action sprinkler, fire detection and alarm, gas suppression early warning smoke detection systems and understanding of local fire authority regulations and requirements
• Understanding on best practices and standards in HVAC, Fire Protection and mechanical systems design, installation and operation requirements
• Understanding of engineering system documentation
• Proven skill in project engineering, vendor qualification and negotiation
• Excellent leadership qualities
• Must be comfortable in developing relationships with senior IT managers, Facility Managers, Consultants and management of major corporations and accounts
• Demonstrate an ability and methodology to develop, mentor and motivate Project Engineering team members
• Strong communicator \xe2\x80\x93 both written and verbal in technical and non-technical environment
• A leader in customer advocacy \xe2\x80\x93 professional approach to internal and external clients
• Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate effective time management skills
• Excellent business ethics and integrity
• Demonstrate a flexibility in operational style to meet the requirements or multi-culture position
• Willing to travel internationally
