An Overview

We are looking for a Principal / Senior Consultant to lead the design, coordination and delivery of programmes in the area of youth development, specifically in programmes supporting youths leading ground-up social projects, those considering to establish their social ventures, as well as young leaders of start-ups.This is a team lead role where you will be expected to:

- Overlook a portfolio of programmes of varying scale and nature focusing on building capacity of individual and social projects / ventures

- Be responsible for revenue generation, including business development efforts such as developing pitch decks with the leadership team

- Supervise, coach and support the learning & development of your team members

- Leverage various internal resources and external partners & volunteers to be part of the programme delivery team].

In running these programmes, you will gain exposure to a breadth of stakeholders across the 3Ps (Private, Public & People) - nonprofit and social enterprise leaders, government agencies, corporates, foundations and volunteers in a variety of cause areas. Depending on the project, the exposure will be for both Singapore and the Asia region.

Roles and Responsibilities

Qualities and experiences that might help you thrive in this role:

  • Business Development: You are familiar with developing pitch decks and / or have a foothold into this sector. This should translate into identifying prospective clients for programme management services.
  • Programme Development: You have experience designing and executing incubation programmes and / or acceleration programmes. You have experience in running in-person and virtual programmes. You are comfortable with facilitating conversations and working with an audience. Experience in the social sector will be an advantage
  • Events Management: You have a track record for managing small to large-scale, complex events. You think through all possible components and break them down in actionable steps. You\xe2\x80\x99re meticulous about administration; you know that small details can have a big impact during events
  • Stakeholder-Oriented: You know that great things can only be achieved through partnership with others; you think through the interests of clients, partners, volunteers and internal cross-functional team members when working with them
  • Resourceful: You\xe2\x80\x99re comfortable working independently and intuitively to think of possible solutions when problems arise
  • IT-proficient: You\xe2\x80\x99re comfortable with Google Suite and data analysis on Excel. Bonus - experience with CRM, email or community management software
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Diploma in any of the Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, etc.), Social Sector or Business-related fields
  • In-lieu of a Degree / Diploma, candidates with equivalent or significant work experience may be considered
  • 6-10+ years of relevant experience, such as project management, training & development, facilitation, marketing & communications, consulting
  • Prior experience in designing and running incubation programme and / or acceleration programme will be an added advantage
  • Possess strong analytical thinking skills, strong proficiency in English, good with numbers, good interpersonal skills and communication skills, take initiative, customer service oriented
