RESPONSIBILITIES

An Overview

As part of our capacity building efforts, we provide training and consultancy services on a wide range of domains, including volunteer management, programme evaluation, impact measurement, among others. Our clients range from government agencies and foundations to charities and social enterprises.

As we foresee increasing demands for better volunteer management practices and better skilled volunteer managers, especially in the public and private sectors, we are looking for anexperienced individual to take on the role of a Senior Consultant to grow the training & consultancy services, specifically in volunteer management. You will be supporting business development efforts and leading the design and delivery of training workshops to our clients.We envision you can grow to become Empact\xe2\x80\x99s spokesperson on all things related tovolunteer management and gain recognition as a subject matter expert in the ecosystem.

You will be reporting to the Deputy CEO and work alongside other team leads across theorganisation to develop training programmes and resources. This is truly an opportunity for an individual who is passionate about training & development, as well as volunteer management to thrive and grow.

Roles and Responsibilities

\xe2\x97\x8f Business Development: Develop mid to high complex project proposals and identifypotential leads from existing client networks or source for new clients.

\xe2\x97\x8f Project Management / Client Management: Lead, oversee project, and act as Client Relationship Manager for mid to high complex projects to ensure achievementof overall project KPIs and maintain good client relationships.

\xe2\x97\x8f Curriculum Development: Develop the volunteer management curriculum and toolsto upskill volunteer management practitioners from the 3P sectors to improve the individual capabilities. Consistently refresh the curriculum to adopt best practices locally and internationally and to ensure its relevance to the local and regional communities.

\xe2\x97\x8f Training Delivery: Customise and deliver training for clients, including but not limited to develop presentations, training materials, case studies and handout materials. Identify skills gaps for development of new training workshops for clients.

\xe2\x97\x8f Resourceful: You\xe2\x80\x99re comfortable working independently and intuitively to think of possible solutions when problems arise.

\xe2\x97\x8f IT-proficient: You\xe2\x80\x99re comfortable with Google Suite and data analysis on Excel.Bonus - experience with CRM software

Qualifications:

\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Diploma in any of the Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology,Philosophy, etc.), Social Sector or Business-related fields

\xe2\x97\x8f In-lieu of a Degree / Diploma, candidates with equivalent or significant workexperience may be considered

\xe2\x97\x8f 5-8 years of relevant experience in volunteer management and / or training & development, with at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in designing and delivering training forclients preferred

\xe2\x97\x8f Candidates with WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP),preferred.

\xe2\x97\x8f Possess strong analytical thinking skills, strong proficiency in English, good withnumbers, good interpersonal skills and communication skills, take initiative, customerservice oriented

\xe2\x97\x8f Have familiarity of the community and social service sector (landscape, key agencies, resources and social agencies).
