Evaluation and scrutiny of the Private Banking Department\'s credit offers. Lombard Loans, Premium Financing, Real Estate Financing, and so on are examples of credit facilities. Recommend a credit facility to the authorised approver and, if applicable, suggest appropriate risk mitigation or credit restrictions. Verify that credit applications adhere to the risk tolerance and credit policy of the bank.
Conduct due diligence investigations for the onboarding of counterparties, such as trading counterparties, fund managers, and insurance providers. Examine and assess financial products such as mutual funds and insurance for onboarding.
Examine and enhance credit policies and practices, making necessary modifications to margin ratios for different financial instruments among other things. help identify and reduce risks associated with new company initiatives.
Monitor and assess the loan portfolio on a daily basis (stress testing, collateral deficit monitoring, etc.). To guarantee strong portfolio quality, identify and assess possible risk problems and suggest/implement mitigating measures.
Fulfill any additional duties or assignments that the management has given you.
Requirements of the Job:
A degree from an accredited university, or higher, in accounting, finance, or similar fields.
More than two years of expertise analysing credit in a banking setting, including familiarity with and exposure to credit facilities offered by private banks.
Strong familiarity with and comprehension of private banking services, credit procedures, and credit analysis and policy.
Working familiarity with a range of financial instruments, including real estate, mutual funds, equities, bonds, and structured goods
Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Being proficient in both Chinese and English is necessary because the incumbent will be communicating with Chinese counterparts at Head Office.
