The Asian Smokehouse is part of the Fyregrill Group that provides end-to-end solutions for all things barbecue.Sous ChefThe Sous Chef assists in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations, including but not limited to preparation and production of all meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost control and overall profitability.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Asian barbecue! He/She should have a high attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The candidate is expected to work together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product and the ability to supervise and train the line cooks is required.:

  • Support daily menu planning and design
  • Ensure a high quality of food & beverage is provided at all times
  • Assist in supervising the daily operation of the kitchen
  • Maximise profitability for the outlet
  • Support the Head Chef on daily operation
  • Creating SOP & Systems for kitchen team members together with the Head Chef
  • Building a positive and service oriented culture
  • Handle any ad-hoc part timers
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of barbecue/grilling experience
  • Background in fine dining or luxury dining
  • Has a passion for Food & Beverage
  • Enjoys interacting with people
  • Must have experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
  • A self-starter and a team player
  • Committed to serving food of the highest quality
  • Enjoys being creative with an eye for detail
  • Enjoys planning, organising and problem solving
  • Communicates and write with fluency in English and local language
  • Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
  • Enjoys being challenged
  • Willing to work shifts
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per monthBenefits:
