about 16 hours ago I am looking for a Senior Director of Process Development for a new CDMO that is aiming to be more consultative and less transactional than the current market offerings. This is a senior leadership position responsible for creating the process development strategy, building a team and even some client facing activities.
Working on Cell & Gene Therapy and nucleic acid products (none of that mAbs stuff) you will lead your team to partner with start-up clients to help them develop their ideas and products into reality. With the benefit of being smaller and more agile you can have much more of an impact on the organizations goals.
The Senior Director of Process Development will be responsible for:
- All downstream and upstream process development activities.
- Build out a Process Development team of up to 20 people.
- Perform tech transfer work from process development through to GMP manufacturing
- Consult with clients, offering process development advice and insights
- Process development experience of cell and gene therapy or nucleic acid products
- People management experience
- Desire to work in a start-up environment
