About Operations
Operation is a busy and dynamic business area, with lots of exciting opportunities to build and develop your career. Our business area comprises of a number of functions and Hubs working globally supporting the entire client journey. We support processes from onboarding new clients, transaction processing, derivatives, daily oversight of the Funds Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensuring that we meet all our Client, Fund and regulatory obligations.
The programme
You will join Schroders as a permanent employee in Accounting Control department. You will also be enrolled into our Operations Academy program which runs for 2 years. The program aims to provide new analyst with the necessary training to kick start their career in Schroders. During this time we will support your study for CISI Level 3 - Investment Operations Certificate, learning on the job and gives you access to a wide range of soft skill training courses.
Note: You will need to study for your CISI Level 3 - Investment Operations Certificate outside of normal office hours.
About the team
The Accounting Control Process Management team is responsible for the validation of data held on the Aladdin Accounting Book of Record for onward generation of client valuation reporting and performance calculation. Accounting subject matter expert within our Accounting & Control team and holds responsibility for the timely management and clearance of Quality Control checks that are generated as part of the data validation process, generation of valuation reporting as well as being responsible for the resolution of any queries arising from Accounting Process Management activities. The team also communicates with upstream operational teams to ensure timely, accurate and complete information is received.
