Processing Officer
Job Description
1) Assist in ICA scanning area; help to open bags, label each screened articles with number stickers and arranged into its respective RC\xe2\x80\x99s.
2) Help to re-pack damaged mails
3) Opened and induct registered / Airsure bags and distribute articles appropriately, arrange foreign bags from staging area to Foreign room.
4) Carry out local & foreign IC duty
5) Process and despatch adecouvert (AV2) articles to ATC.
6) Cover night shift duty as and when required; do balancing and record carried forward foreign bags, Airsure bags and ICA RC\xe2\x80\x99s at the end of shift.
7) Help to re-pack damaged mails
8) Handling of retained items to ICA
9) Open insured bags
10) Scanned all undeliverable articles into ECR for future customer enquiry.
11) Work together with team leader to carry out annual statistics.
12) Ensure work area cleanliness and tidiness at the end of the day
13) Assist in Kaizen project as and when required.
14) Help to check & replenish any expendables such as empty orange colour bags.
15) Support OT as and when required, especially during holiday & pressure period
16) Perform any other duty assigned by supervisor.Requirement:1) Comfortable with 3 Rotating Shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Night)
