An exciting Procurement Director (IT - Cloud & Network) job opportunity has become available working for a leading telecommunications company in Singapore.

About the Procurement Director (IT - Cloud & Network) Role:
This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Vice President. The successful candidate will work closely with all business teams across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end category management, identifying, and realising cost saving initiatives that deliver real business value in the category
• Establish appropriate supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers
• Lead and support a team of Category Managers, Specialists and Procurement teams in business units
• Govern weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational meetings, manage escalations, and continuously drive the organisation towards goals

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant strategic sourcing knowledge within the telecommunications landscape.

Key Requirements:

• Degree from any recognised university or recognised establishment (business, finance, engineering, or accounting is beneficial)
• Minimum of eight years of experience in a procurement/contract management/vendor management role
• Relevant experience in cloud, applications and telecommunications
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across organisational and cultural boundaries, internal and external at the executive management level
• Willingness to travel (approximately 60%)
