Primary Responsibilities:

Work closely with other departments on purchasing requirements including mainly on contractor works relating to maintenance and upgrading of plant facilities.
Review job scope raised by Engineering department and analyse technical data and specifications needed for the work.
Check suitability, source comparable quotes in all fields on available information and ask the right question to stakeholders about the work.
Provide information to company personnel of nature and function of parts equipment when required.
Monitor purchasing trend to avoid over purchase.
Create Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO) and follow up on the approval process and PO closure.
