Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Involve in new supplier qualification and registration as well as re-assessment of the existing suppliers.
• Responsible for sourcing and/or soliciting quotation from suppliers, evaluating quotation, price negotiation and purchasing of assigned goods and services according to company policy and procedure.
• Responsible for preparing price comparison report for approval according to the company policy and procedure.
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs, such as work with key stakeholders on the requirement of the purchase, issuing of Purchase Orders (PO), document filing and following up on the delivery schedules and expediting the delivery when required.
• Update the master contract and agreement listings.
• Support reporting activities within the department such as monthly PO and contract reviews and cost savings reporting.
• Resolve service, quality, delivery and cost issues with the key stakeholders and suppliers.
  

• Diploma in Procurement / Supply Chain / Business or equivalent certifications.
• 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics industry.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications.
• Hand-on experience in operating Oracle Fusion or equivalent ERP system will be added advantage.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships, conducting negotiations and managing projects.
• Meticulous and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Possess good communication, time management and work organization skills.
• Team player, self-driven, highly motivated, and able to work under minimum supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in stress, fast-paced and a cross functional environment.
