Procurement Executive (chemical)

Job Description
- Take charge of procuring and sourcing of raw materials, office equipment, stationery and supplies, etc.
- Facilitate purchase of raw materials/trading goods in timely manner.
- Interacting with internal department/external parties (forwarders & suppliers) related to all POs (covers end-to-end ordering processes).
- Prepare and maintain purchasing reports, records, and updated price lists.
- Manage complaints (SCAR & AB Report) from internal departments.
- Negotiate raw materials pricing based on cost objectives.
- Assist internal departments\' requests on procurement matters (TDS, SDS, rm sample, COA issues).
- Follow up closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery
- To review and maintain ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 procedures in accordance to Procurement function.
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Min 2 years of experience in direct procuring
- Knowledge in chemicals will be advantageous
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment
