Position Level : Entry Level - Junior Executive

Location : Old Klang Road, KL

Remuneration : Pays up to RM3,500 basic salary & Performance Incentive

About our client:

Our client is a pharmaceutical company specializing in niche products including orphan drugs & specialty drugs. Headquartered in KL, the client had successfully built an extensive network to respond and fulfil the special medicine requirements of hospital pharmacists and physicians in Malaysia & Singapore.

About your role:

• To assist Procurement Manager to forecast, plan, liaise, and procurement of various range of products.
• Manage distribution and logistic matters related procurement
• Ensure compliance to Good Distribution Practice

Procurement

• Forecast, plan, coordinate and procure pharmaceutical products to meet the inventory requirements, for regular and ad-hoc orders
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standard, lead time, prompt delivery and the best pricing
• Continuous improvement of procurement processes
• Maintain good business relationship with suppliers and service providers

Distribution and Delivery

• Ensure all processes are compliance to Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
• Update shipment status
• Data entry and timely updating of shipment into the company system

Logistics

• Manage inbound logistics providers
• Coordinate and liaise with custom officers/logistics service provider on clearance matters

Legislation and Systems

• Timely update of GDP SOP
• Maintenance of item master data
• Update import permits related matters
• Ad-hoc assignments

Criteria to meet:

• Candidate must possess at least a degree in supply chain/logistics/inventory management or relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in logistics and supply chain operations or procurement.
• Experience in procurement of pharmaceutical will be an added advantage
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this position
• Basic understanding of procurement, Good Distribution Practice, logistics management
• Competencies Required: Computer Skills, Communication Skills
• Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision
• Language proficiency: Verbal & Written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
