RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all\xe2\x80\xafsuppliers & contracted\xe2\x80\xafpartners
• Manage product sales margin, mix & range, promotions to achieve preset KPIs
• Manage central purchased\xe2\x80\xaforders\xe2\x80\xafand direct supplies
• Work with stakeholders to develop house brand or\xe2\x80\xafOEM\xe2\x80\xafbrand requirements
• Plan organize onsite-offers/ thematic promotions and publicised offers on press and social media to meet KPIs prescribed by management
• Source for direct supplier from source of origin or main consolidators
• Compile reports and conduct presentations to management and/or panel of stakeholders
• Visit customers regularly
• Attend overseas procurement, inspection visits and trade events when required

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of focused\xe2\x80\xafworking\xe2\x80\xafexperience in\xe2\x80\xafvegetables or fresh related procurement
• Familiar with the relevant trade industry players and SFA\xe2\x80\x99s licensing and polices pertaining to food hygiene handling, processing and storage requirements for fresh products.
• Prior buying/supply experience in the supermarket retail trade would be advantageous
• Tertiary education with specialization in Food Science and Technology would be a plus
• Possess own transport preferred
• Self-motivated and target driven
• Meticulous and analytical
• Skillful negotiator and effective communicator
• Strong IT literacy proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
