Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for steel products
- Source and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery times
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor and forecast price and supply trends in the steel market
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement meets business needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical practices
- Strong knowledge of the steel market, including suppliers and products
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
