Job Description

The Manager, Procurement \xe2\x80\x93 ES Projects will manage and coordinate the supply chain activities from the kick-off through execution until the project close out, in accordance with the project strategy while collaborating with the engineering, project management and other cross-functional teams. The role is accountable to the financial targets of material cost savings and ensuring meeting targets on project budget on third party spend.

• Collaborates with Project Management and Engineering on the material targets and resource requirements defined and committed in ITO.
• Coordinates with Category Management the execution of the category strategies within the region.
  • Coordinates with Supplier Quality Engineering the supplier\xe2\x80\x99s approval, qualification and quality plan.
  • Validates Project Material Evolution and respective reporting both at regional and global levels.
• Reports on material variances (ECN, SDR and Timing Change) for the summary and develops initiatives to continuously improve.
• Outlines strategies and plans to minimize cost and time variances.
• Coordinates on time deliveries of quality material with the Regional fulfillment team.
• Develop and participate in a post project review forum to identify areas of improvement and opportunities.
• Responsible for receiving and ensuring quality and completeness of Purchase Requisitions with Engineering / Material Planning.
• Manages relationships with suppliers for strategic outlook and order execution.
• Collaborates with category management team on all negotiations and directly handles non-category spend.
• Collaborates with Sourcing Project Leadership to ensure all information is accurately captured in the Project Purchasing Dashboard.
• Communicates and maintains purchase variance analysis and translates into lessons learnt for all projects.
• Supports on-time payments to suppliers.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management from an accredited university or college.

• • At least 12 years of experience in increasing roles in purchasing, strategic sourcing with preferred experience in project procurement processes and activities.
• Project Management or Team Leadership experience.
  • Must have superior communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Above average analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working in a team, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and organizing.
• Possess ability to read and understand engineering drawings with the ability to communicate technical information to various internal and external customers.
• Flexible and adaptable to ever changing priorities.
• ERP experience required, preferably with SAP.
• Six Sigma training or equivalent quality certification
• Additional experience in Supply Chain Management
• Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills.
