Job Description




The successful candidate will be a part of Procurement department and report to Manager Project Management Office (Project Polaris). The role is part of the team supporting the PMO under the Source-to-Pay track of Project Polaris, which is a Finance, Procurement and Engineering transformation project in conjunction with the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) replacement project. Project Polaris aims to implement capabilities, processes and systems to generate additional value, drive more efficiencies and deliver the digital ERP foundation to support the business needs of SIA into the future.

As part of the onboarding programme, the successful candidate will commence with a stint at SIA Supplies Centre Warehouse, reporting to Manager Procurement (Warehouse and Logistics). This allows the candidate to have a deeper understanding of warehouse operations and processes to enable him/her to contribute towards the progressive implementation phases of Project Polaris, especially for Supply Chain functions.

Job Requirements

  • Manage project implementation to ensure it is within budget and as per planned timeline.
  • Work with internal stakeholders such as HO BUs, Regions and SIAEC as well as external stakeholders such as consultants and system integrators on key deliverables and issue resolutions.
  • Manage and mitigate project risk and highlight potential challenges.
  • Plan and schedule resource efficiency.
  • Establish governance and ensure compliance.
  • Track and report all the success metrics.
  • Manage communications and facilitate change management/training.
  • Devise and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Facilitate workshop with stakeholders.
  • Conduct periodic physical inspection of stock items, contingency plans and provide risk assessment to reduce risk of disruptions to operations.
  • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of warehouse operations against the set SLAs and performance targets for appointed 3PL (e.g., turnaround time for orders, timely GR, QC etc).
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in any field
  • Possess analytical, problem solving and conceptualization skills.
  • Possess interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong organization skills and good time management.
Knowledge or some experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
  • Accounts Payable functions and processes
  • Category or Supply Chain management
  • Procurement Operations
  • SAP ERP system or systems supporting invoice processing
  • Procurement business analytics
