They take pride in ensuring optimized Value Engineering & Supplier Development Management to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Accountable for supporting the design and development of category strategy within the division as a Subject-Matter-Expert, in alignment to the company\'s growth and supply requirements
• Accountable for supporting the review, development and implementation of new / existing supplier strategy by means of ensuring proper monitoring of market movements to support the various Product Line
• Support supplier reliability, supplier performance reviews and assist in contract negotiations
• Influence interface partners to ensure strategic cost savings with suppliers to ensure optimal company profits.
• Ensure efficient work partnership with Engineering, R&D, Quality and Factory Assembly teams etc to mitigate any cost / supplier quality and/or supply assurance issues

Candidate Profile

• Minimally possesses a Degree in Supply Chain / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related studies
• Approximately 3 years of procurement / purchasing / category management experience, preferably in Hi-tech Manufacturing fields
• Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, influencing, negotiation & analytical skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity and optimizing teamwork and synergy in the organisation
• Good experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite
