Job Description

Overview
Product Assurance Engineer shall assist the Operations department in providing technical support to contract manufacturers and suppliers handling mass spectrometry products and liquid chromatography products. The role covers product transfer, method and equipment transfer, production technical support for suppliers, process improvement, reporting and corrective actions.
Responsibilities

To transfer both liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry products into the Singapore based manufacturing supply chain.
Perform IQ/OQ/PQ of test fixtures and equipment used in the manufacturing supply chain.
Perform (or arrange) maintenance schedules for test fixtures and equipment used in the manufacturing supply chain
To provide training of suppliers in the testing of LC/MS products.
To provide technical support to suppliers in the diagnosis of faults on LC/MS products during manufacturing
To escalate issues affecting production
To investigate to root cause, failures attributed to the manufacturing process.
To assist in the reliability evaluation of new Suppliers

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering
5-10 Years of Experience in a Related Field /Role
Degree in a scientific subject or in electronics.
Practical experience of instrumentation.
Good oral and written communication skills.
The ability to work as an effective member of a team.
