Reporting to the Flow Manager, he/she will be responsible for driving and meeting product reliability and improving product yield.

• Create and maintain necessary shop documentation to ensure compliance with CMM & other specification revisions:

• Overhaul Routers
• Lot Sheets
• ICR
• Bushing Installation Sheets
• OHRW Assembly/ Dis Assembly Worksheets
• OHRW Process Sheets
• Plating Data Sheets
• Plating Masking Data Sheets
• NDT technique sheets
• Procedures
• Forms
• Prepare and submit concessions to OEMs for out-of-scope repairs and liaise with OEMs on technical queries or any other matters as required.
• Provide technical support and leadership to the shop floor, as well as to various sections requiring engineering inputs. Also, to support the shop floor on modification of existing fixtures and designing of new ones.
• Ensure that all matters pertaining to product or process are managed efficiently and that all technical problems are resolved in a timely manner, to ensure smooth operations and production.
• Liaise with Marketing & Customer Service Department to ensure that all technical requirements set out by customers are met.
• Carry out feasibility studies for new capability setup as well as initiate and carry out the setup. This includes setting up new specification capability for special processes, reviewing special processes, setting up new equipment/machines, or modifying setup for increased capacity.
• Conduct 8D, SCAR, and INC investigation and issue warranty for defective components. Also, perform process non-conformance gap analysis and establish corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Active participation in Lean-Sigma projects and to carry out continuous improvements and enhance systems and processes efficiently and robustly.
• Participate actively in contribution to HSE development and improvement. This includes supporting HSE risk assessment for new equipment processes for chemical risk, general risk, ergonomic risk, and environmental risk.
• Establish process/equipment autonomous maintenance schedule/plan in consultation with the support of Process Manager/Maintenance Team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Diploma with equivalent experience in exchange with at least 3 years of relevant aerospace engineering experience as a Product Engineer, Workshop Engineer, or in a similar capacity.
• Familiarity with a shopfloor environment and in maintaining necessary documentation and/or introduction of new capabilities/reviews will be ideal.
• Having a Lean Sigma Green Belt and above will be advantageous.
• Experienced in constant liaising with OEMs to attain required concessions.
