Position Overview:

My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payments Product Manager to join the Transaction Banking Team in the APAC region. This role is pivotal in driving the development, enhancement, and management of our cross-border payments products and cash management offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international payment systems, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks across various APAC countries. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing product strategies that align with our business goals and provide exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development and Management:

• Lead the development and enhancement of cross-border payment products for the APAC region.
• Roll out new products and features, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the bank\'s strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product initiatives successfully.

Cash Management Enhancement:

• Identify opportunities to improve cash management offerings and create a compelling value proposition.
• Work closely with technology and operations teams to implement enhancements.
• Ensure that relationship managers in different countries understand and effectively promote cash management products to clients.

Regulatory and Market Expertise:

• Stay informed about the regulatory landscape and market trends in the APAC region.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations while designing and delivering products.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to navigate regulatory complexities.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
• Monitor competitor activities, product offerings, and pricing strategies.
• Leverage market and competitor insights to refine product positioning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience (at least 8 years) in payments product management, preferably in a corporate banking or fintech (payments) environment.
• Deep knowledge of cross-border payment systems, cash management products, and international banking regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey product strategies and value propositions.
• Exceptional project management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

• Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed.
• Familiarity with relevant payment industry standards and technologies.
• Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and regulations.
