The Product Manager is responsible for the Customer Management System (CMS) and associated finance aspects of the business. The primary responsibility of this position is to plan, install, configure, improve and monitor the CMS to meet overall needs of the business, working with internal customers such as Sales, Marketing, Community, Operations and Customer Experience teams and Finance to gather and implement requirements to the CMS. The immediate priority of the Product Manager upon joining will be managing the entire product lifecycle and product roadmap for Core Collective's proprietary Customer Management System (CMS) app that is currently being developed. You will also be managing the performance of a Systems & Finance Lead and be responsible for ensuring that the monthly payroll generated using the current whitelabel system is completed by the 15th of the following month. What We're Looking For Our Product Manager will be working with our appointed software developers, internal and external stakeholders to bring the CMS app to go-live in April 2023 CMS design, development and infrastructure setup completed by October 2022 QAT and UAT completed by January 2023 User training SOP to be written and user training for Core Collective staff to complete by January 2023. Data migration completed by January 2023 Professionals (Residents) are onboarded and taught how to use the new CMS by February 2023.. To complete the above, you will be steering a cross-functional team, which includes the upper management (CEO, 2 General Managers) and guiding the success of the CMS app. As a Product Manager, you will also be managing the performance of the Systems and Finance lead, and be responsible for ensuring that the monthly payroll generated using the current system is completed by the 15th of the following month. This will be ongoing until the launch of the CMS. After the launch of the CMS in February 2023, you will be in charge of optimizing the CMS to meet member revenue targets via leading on product enhancements to drive better collaboration scores and ease of use. This includes planning and execution of the CMS product roadmap. What You'll Be Doing Now until end February 2023 CMS Development Have a very clear understanding of the vision and business model of Core Collective, along with the larger business objective for this CMS. Articulate what success looks like for the CMS. Align all internal (staff) and external (Resident/ Members) stakeholders around the vision for the CMS. Performing user (internal and external stakeholder) interviews for their feedback on CMS design for continuous improvements. Project manage the development of the CMS with our appointed software developers. Ensuring timely completion of the product without cost overruns. This includes and is not limited to addressing any clarifications, overseeing the development, data migration, user training, launch, maintenance and optimization process of this proprietary system. Balance the needs of all types of users, the requests from feedback, development costs, and the company's revenue goals. You will be prioritising any product features and capabilities changes/ requests. You will be converting business/user needs/feedback into technical specifications You will be leading a team of 1 other team member Defining and tracking success metrics related to the CMS Planning how data will be migrated from the current system to the new CMS. Working with the other departments to plan and execute the transition from the current system to the new CMS. Monthly Payroll of Core Collective's professionals Ensure that the monthly payroll generated using the current whitelabel system is completed by the 15th of the following month by performance managing a Systems & Finance Lead. You are expected to work alongside the team member to unblock obstacles to ensure the timely completion of payroll. From March 2023 Optimize the CMS to meet member revenue targets via leading on product enhancements to drive better collaboration scores and ease of use. This can include the implementation of at least one new improvement initiative every quarter. Planning and execution of the CMS product roadmap. Prepare CMS dashboards and reports monthly with business insights and recommendations. Training the Systems & Finance Lead to assist you with the above. Who You Are To be successful, you should have strong interpersonal relationship building skills, leadership, prioritisation and communication skills. You have a natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative. You are a fast and independent learner in order to possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of the current status of software development. You are able to consider the implications holistically to the CMS should there be a feature change. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Have an aptitude to anticipate any changes Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure High level of strategic and forward thinking You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel) such as formatting, and basic Excel formulas. You are proficient in Google Suite products Experienced in Agile or Scrum methodology in project management Possesses Certified Scrum Master or an equivalent qualification will be added an advantage Basic technical knowledge
