Job Overview
The Product Marketing Manager is directly responsible for the go-to-market strategy of a product or strategic project driving sales growth, margin and share of wallet growth within an assigned product portfolio, segment, or strategic growth project across AFAP with speed.
Their primary responsibility is to develop the market strategy (where to play, target customer pipeline), be the expert in the market (e.g., competitive landscape, buying factors) and in the product itself. They are also responsible to ensure that the market understands the value of the product and to drive customer demand and product adoption. Important for success in the role will be the ability to drive sales, operational and technical alignment behind aspirational growth goals.
In addition, the Product Marketing Manager helps position the product before it is launched, or a new functionality is released and works closely with R&D to communicate customer needs and develop a product innovation roadmap. They also identify target customers, hands-on execution support to customers, sales and marketing teams and industry associations across the Region.
