Job Description

Working with a Private Bank in search of a Product Owner to be part of their Digital Channels team, on a 1 Year contract.

Successful candidates possess understanding of banking across wealth management and private banking, exposed to innovation & transformation trends in the industry and are experienced in agile ways of working and engagement of stakeholders across departments and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Product Discovery & Delivery

• Working with Change & Client Experience, Business Management and Technology teams to conceptualize the journeys, design & prioritize features, provide requirements, prioritize user stories, and work with technology and other team members on delivery
• Extracting relevant insights from client\'s online behavior and client usability testing to continuously iterate the client journeys to improve the product experience.
• Implementing framework to drive adoption and usage, establish feedback loop to ensure that the product meets the needs of clients

Driving Engagement & Usage

• Managing business and senior stakeholders by acting as a partner and trusted advisor, ensuring continuous user feedback loops during the agile delivery
• Planning and orchestrating of training activities and create easy-to-understand training and engagement material for clients and front office
• Creating high-quality communication deliverables such as EDMs to clients and front office and are comfortable with articulating the communication strategy through presentation materials
• Working in projects and have a good grasp of project management in general when it comes to structure, clear roles & responsibilities, etc.

Scope & Requirements:

• You have at least 7-8 years\' experience with working as a Product Owner in a financial institution, fintech, technology or consultancy company
• You enjoy working on problems with cross functional teams to conceptualize the journeys, design & prioritize features
• You have excellent communication skills, are able to process information quickly, break complex matters down to their core - running independently, and don\'t give up easily
• You are comfortable presenting in front of senior leadership & cross functional stakeholders to get required decisions
• You have experience defining a vision and strategy for a digital solution, product or service and have successfully managed the full product lifecycle from idea-stage to scaling, including integration of user feedback into product requirements and driving prioritization

Regulatory Responsibilities, Risk Management

• You collaborate with legal & compliance teams to assess regulatory considerations of digital solutions
• You demonstrate appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Professional and Technical

• Familiar with client needs in wealth management and private banking. Good understanding of business processes, process design, and process re-engineering. Especially in the areas of online trading across asset classes & digital channels.
• Experience with product discovery and delivery concepts on understanding user needs, identify opportunities and demonstrate successful, impactful delivery
• Knowledge of agile methodology and experience of partnering with research, design, change and technology in an design thinking and agile framework
• Demonstrated capability for problem solving and decision making. Track record of prioritizing and making trade-offs by objectively evaluating opportunities vs potential pitfalls
