Job Description


The Role Responsibilities

  • To provide full administrative support to the Global Head of Flow & FI Trade, Head of Open Account & SCF As well as Head of Working Capital.
  • Inclusive of team support to ensure the smooth running of the office and delivery of a quality service for the benefit of the bands and clients, both external and internal.
Provide administration and secretarial support
  • Arrange meetings and conference calls, including booking of meeting rooms. Proactively manage calendar overlaps
  • Help organise key stakeholder/wide-group meetings for key team members
  • Travel arrangements including meeting schedules, accommodation, visa arrangement and transportation
  • Prepare and submit expense claims
  • Help send update emails to large lists
  • Raise e-procurement for payment made to invoices and tracking of payment status
  • Raise RMS for IT requirements, follow up and ensure closure of the requisitions
  • Admin support for department events and matters e.g., Organize team meetings/offsites, calls (including multi stakeholder calls) and other conferences/workshops, including venue bookings, raising of POs, travel arrangements of teams, etc.
  • Prepare report binders and maintain files if required
  • Ensure reliable support is provided to the teams in communicating with regional and global offices and counterparts
New hires/leavers
  • Support with hiring process (e.g., raise Job Requests, draft s, arrange for interviews)
  • New request/return of hardware, IT, office requirements including printing of business cards
  • New request/removal of system and security access
  • Prepare handover checklist and removal of accesses for leavers
Department matters
  • Maintain departments email distribution lists and generic mailboxes
  • Maintain shared drive and department files
  • Represent Department as Business Continuity Plan Crisis Coordinator - plan call tree management and other arrangements
  • Represent Department as Department Fire Warden
Regulatory and Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Support the Group Managed Investment Product team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Global Heads of Flow & FI Trade, Open A/c products & Working Capital
  • Relevant trade teams under these product heads
  • Other team heads
Our Ideal Candidate
  • 3+ years of experience in Banking Industry.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree
Role Specific Competencies
  • Experience in Outlook/calendar management,
  • Experience in travel bookings & claims on our internal systems
  • Experience in report binders and file maintenance.
