Job Description

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Involved in day-to-day pharmaceuticals manufacturing operations planning and supervision

• Lead in production scheduling in different departments to achieve output

• Ensure compliance to PIC/S GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Documentation Practice) standard.
  

• Forecast Planning - In charge of planning production schedule according to demands and available material and capability resources.
• Update completed work order quantity into the system when applicable.
• Monitor production progress and outputs to ensure products will be deliver within the timeframe.
• Generate reports for management review (productivity report, production planning etc) periodically
• Liaise with sales to check and advise ETA of finished products when necessary.
• Monitor finished product inventory and ensure inventory within healthy buffer level
• Analyse delays and interruptions, discuss and resolve it to ensure delivery commitment.
• Analyse current productivity based on maximum capacity.
• Lead in capacity-building initiatives (machinery, operators, process workflow, warehouse, etc)
• Liaise together with Engineer to ensure regular maintenance and resolve any machine-related issues (e.g. spare parts, faulty equipment)
• Monitor material availability for production continuity.
• Supervise and manage production team and ensure compliance to GMP and GDP.
• Assist in regulatory audits and response to the authority query.
• Assist in root cause analysis and Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) due to deviations.
• Review and update SOP relating to the production periodically.
• Together with Production Manager, handling and managing of production issue raised by the production team.
• Work together with QA to arrange training to production staff on SOP and cGMP.
• Work closely with QA/QC department to maintain cGMP standard.
• Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary (such as inter-department projects)

• Relevant knowledge or experience on Pharmaceutical Science/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ Production Planning preferred. Diplomas holders are welcome.
• Basic understanding of machine operations and production workflow.
• Able to adapt to high pace and pressure of the nature of the job scope
• Able to adapt to changes quickly and give clear instructions to production team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
