The Production Executive is responsible for ensuring effective execution of production plans. He/She is to maintain operational excellence through resource planning, people management, equipment maintenance oversight, and adherence to food safety standards while driving continuous improvement and maintaining a safe working environment.
Area of Responsibility
People Safety Management
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
Promote safety awareness and culture.
Food Safety Compliance
Ensure products produced comply to food safety and quality standard.
Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance GMP.
Implement corrective actions for food safety deviations.
Production Plan Execution
Ensure daily production schedules and ensure adherence to planned target.
Implement corrective actions for production delays or quality issues.
Plan and allocate human resources for optimal shift coverage.
Coordinate raw / packaging material requirements with supply chain.
Lead root cause analysis for operational issues.
Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel.
Equipment Maintenance Oversight
Monitor equipment performance and reliability.
Plan and optimize maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime.
Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures.
Maintenance cost optimization.
Continuous Improvement Projects
Implement CAPEX project.
Drive cost optimization, process and energy efficiency improvement projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Minimum Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in food manufacturing and in similar capacity.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing a production team and meeting production targets.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality control standards.
Professional Qualifications
Familiar with HACCP, GMP, ISO22000.
