Responsibilities:

  • To be overall responsible for the delivery of the APU-xxx, meeting on time (D1), on quality (R1), within budget (CPP/CBB), meeting the technical and quality requirements.
  • Working closely and integrated with Central team, maintaining standards and continuously improving for collective good.
  • Optimize the level of skills in the APU to ensure meeting the targeted first-pass yield of each product, continuously seeking improvements to achieve and deliver the targeted competitiveness percentage; pursuing yield issues to be captured in upstream process than later
  • To be fully accountable of the MYB budget and its implementation (Cost structure for production)
  • Maintain and improve the capacity to meet the customer demand forecast in S&OP
  • Ensure all work done are done in accordance to the cost of goods sold (per CPP/CBB).
  • Delivers the work done in a timely fashion (fulfills customer contractual requirements).
  • Ensures the quality of the work done is in accordance to the required airworthiness and customer requirement.
  • Leads and arbitrates across functional teams to ensure good collaboration and effectiveness in the process (man, machines, method, material, and environment). Seek to continuously improve the processes to secure cost, time and quality.
  • To ensure all functional teams are aligned with the strategy of any new business opportunities as well as providing continuous customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with key partners/stakeholders; design authority, suppliers , customers, etc,
  • Monitoring and ensuring accountability (direct and delegated) all indicators (financial and non-financial) are on track towards objectives, securing with timed and accountable action plans. Regular monthly review to identify risks and opportunities
  • Continue to evolve the APU in Roles and Responsibilities, striving high level of agility and autonomy to deliver the customer commitments while keeping to the APU internal commitments (budget/cost, productivity, etc)
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in production control and management in high-mix, low volume environment
  • Lead, manage and develop a dedicated team of at least 30 headcount
  • Possess strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma in a manufacturing plant
  • Broad understanding of product and project management, financial planning and cash flow management.
  • Able to understand and analyze electronic/electrical/mechanical systems, sub systems and materials used for industrial products
  • Experience in monitoring implementation of 8D methodology and Quality tools (ISHIKAWA, SPC)
  • Drive continuous improvement projects\xe2\x80\xa2Strong knowledge in planning and executing NPI to start up production activities

  • Working Location: Changi
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
