The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with a German Retail group with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Production & QC Manager based at their Singapore HQ! Reporting directly to the Production Director and leading 1 direct report, the successful candidate is responsible for ensuring production aligns with company\'s Ethical Sourcing Policies, managing timelines and quality standards across various stages of garment production, and leading the QC processes.

• FMCG industry - handling Kidswear pre-production and QC processes

The Job:

• Ensure all production aligns with strict Ethical Sourcing Policies.
• Coordinate weekly cross-team meetings to plan Item Article Numbers in development according to supplier lead times, ensuring Time and Action compliance, and confirming accuracy and correctness in each selection.
• Collaborate with QC team to ensure factories\' actions match the agreements made at the order confirmation stage.
• Conduct handover meetings for all Item Article Numbers and oversee the Pre-Production line.
• Ensure Pre-Production meetings are conducted following suppliers\' actions.
• Detail Pre-Production meeting agreements to maintain consistent quality across the entire production process.
• Provide technical support and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs and/or improve quality levels and production efficiency.
• Oversee headcount planning, training, and personal development of the team.
• Notify key stakeholders of any major or critical production and quality issues identified in the factory and follow up on outstanding Corrective Action Plans with the supplier.
• Participate in Quality Assurance meetings, Risk Assessments, and Supplier and Third-Party Laboratory meetings as required by the Production & QC Director.
• Collaborate with the Process & Project team to produce comprehensive reports, including traffic light reporting of QC team inspection results, non-conformances, and supplier or factory activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and efficiency of the QC processes.

The Talent:

• At least 8-10 years of experience in sourcing company with the European garment market, regional exposure (preferably in emerging markets i.e. Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar)
• Possess strong leadership and managerial skills with sound problem-solving skills
• In-depth technical knowledge in raw materials, wovens/knits, and sweater garments
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Lotus
• Comfortable to travel as and when required (at least 20-30%)
