Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Aircraft Production Superintendent to oversee our aircraft manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the production team, ensuring that production schedules are met, and maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards. The Aircraft Production Superintendent will also be responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair of production equipment and for ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the aircraft production process, ensuring that production schedules are met, and production targets are achieved.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient operations and optimal use of resources.
• Monitor production processes and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to ensure that production meets customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Ensure that all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met by the production team.
• Supervise the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that any malfunctions are addressed promptly.
• Oversee the training and development of production team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
• Manage the performance of production team members, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ex RSAF ME3 and above is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in aircraft production or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft production processes, quality control systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
