: Production Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates all aspects of the production process to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within quality standards. This role leads a team of production staff, monitors operations, enforces safety protocols, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production activities and ensure production schedules are met. Lead, coach, and motivate production team members to achieve individual and team goals. Monitor production output and quality to maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow. Ensure all production activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in good working order. Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, including productivity, downtime, and quality metrics. Collaborate with quality control to address product defects or non-conformances. Participate in continuous improvement programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Assist in training new employees and conducting performance evaluations. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with the supply chain team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in production management software and MS Office applications.
