Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production activities, including assembly, testing, First Article build (FA). Plan and organize production schedules, assigning tasks and priorities to production teams. Monitor production processes and equipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Train and mentor production staff, Production Lead, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed. Ensure compliance with production schedules, deadlines, and quality standards. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective action. Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct regular inspections of production areas and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams. Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve production-related issues and implement process improvements. Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation. Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance metrics to production teams. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff. Qualifications:

Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining safety standards and improving operational efficiency.
