The workshop supervisor is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the company Flowtek Engineering Pte Ltd workshop. In order to carry out these responsibilities the workshop supervisor must deliver a high-quality work that includes information, dissemination, training, repairs, schedule, planning installation & etc. Steel/Thermoplastic jobs

Core reponsibilities

• Supervise workshop operations
• Ensure all work carried out comply with safety & quality requirements
• To oversee the areas of workshop management
• To maintain discipline of workshop personnel
• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping within designated area which will include the upkeep of the mahcine and surrounding floor area
• Managment experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred
• Ability to pratice a high level of confidentiality
• Manage the overall operational responsibilities and activities of the department
• Plan and allocate resource to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
• Establishing priorities monitoring progress resolving problems, reporting results to the management team
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Maintain safe and clean work enviroment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment & resources, maintaining comliance with established policies & prodedures
• Maintains professional & technical knowledge by attanding educational workshop
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Handling equipment / skid fabrication / Process piping
• Planning for work schedule
• To assist with the ISO audit
• Perform other duties & responsibilities as assiged

• Professional certificte / NITEC (Civil/Constructin/Structual) or equivalent
• Knowledge of Pipe/Structure welding (TIG/MIG/ARC) or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Thermoplastic pipe and plate welding (PVC/PP/PE/PVDF & etc) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of responsible leadership experiences in supervisory positions and related field
• In experience in welding process are welcome as training/guiding will be provided
• Able to work independently

• Basic microsoft office (Word/Xcel/Power Point)
• AutoCAD / Solidwoods
• Possess a good work attitude and must be meticulous organized, reliable & able to handle work pressure well
• Excellent oral & written communication skills with a good command of both spoken & written
