Continue your career journey and make a difference with us here at Lidl!What you\'ll doThe holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his/her superior:

  • Ensures all production occurs in line with Lidl\xe2\x80\x99s strict Ethical Sourcing Policies
  • Defend the PP Line by working as far back as Order Confirmation stage to ensure the process starts on time
  • Work across functions to ensure sampling is completed in line with agreed factory TnA
  • Own mass production start date and follow up
  • Sound knowledge of inspections for textiles products including garments, home textiles and/or shoes and the production process of those items
  • Provide manufacturing technical support and procedures to improve quality levels, reduce manufacturing costs and improve production efficiencies when identified
  • Able to ascertain \xe2\x80\x98true bottleneck or issues\xe2\x80\x99 and set up improvement plans with any factory
  • Notify key stakeholders of any major or critical production and quality issues identified
  • Works closely with QA team to resolve any critical or major issues found during testing
  • Conducts and or supports when required Pre-Production meetings in factory
  • Work closely with our agencies and QC\xe2\x80\x99s in all countries to ensure they follow the aligned way of working and hold factories to those requirements
  • Perform unannounced audits and inspections when requested and issue CAP\xe2\x80\x99s
  • In the absence of PSM, able to take the lead on CPM meeting, supplier induction meeting and kick-off meeting.
  • Participate and mentor new team member on-board training.
  • Handle more IANs and high risk orders with new factory, new country and new items.
  • Depending on operational requirements and business needs, the holder of this position might be tasked with additional projects upon request.
What you\'ll need
  • Diploma or degree in textile
  • 5 years relevant experience in Quality roles and factory inspection practice is an added advantage.
  • Possess strong technical expertise in variety of textile products and/ or home textiles, and /or shoes
  • Autonomous, proactive, detailed and commercially minded
  • High degree of work ethic and integrity
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and fluent in Mandarin. Additional languages is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel, Word & Powerpoint
  • Occassional travel may be required
