We are currently looking for suitably qualified candidate to fill up the following position of Program Manager, SUR

This position has dual responsibilities as outlined below:

Sustainability aspects (50% of time spent):

  • Implement the company's sustainability framework, strategies and priorities and establish goals in consultation with the management team
  • Drive forward-looking views on sustainability trends, best practices and benchmark standards and integrate recommendations into company's objectives and operations
  • Provide commercial and technical analysis for implementation of sustainability projects
  • Responsible for all sustainability reporting by providing relevant write-ups and data
  • Drive awareness campaigns for green initiatives, environmental and water management programme
Digital & Technology aspects (50% of time spent):
  • Manage programs designed to reduce waste or improve energy efficiency, workspace, overseeing the creation and distribution of an organization's annual sustainability reports
  • Lead, develop, provide guidance systems, support, and set the foundation and frameworks of Digital Infrastructure in Sustainability Urban Renewal project
  • Prepare the terms of reference and identify consultants/institutions to undertake assignments in accordance with the approved annual Work Plan
  • Conduct research and analysis in policy/program development for decarbonization
  • Co-design sustainability programs with municipal staff and partners
  • Organize and lead calls, meetings, events and workshops with clients, partners, collaborators, and other critical stakeholders
  • Create effective and concise written communications in the form of PowerPoint presentations and memos
  • Manage ongoing relationships with current, former, and future international client and partners
  • Maintain data and project updates for internal check-ins and provide coordination with partners
  • To lead on the review of KLV business continuity plans and to update these as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to work within the boundaries of agile methodologies
  • Possess infrastructure, network and application security knowledge and skills
  • Broad understanding of agile product development methodologies
  • Broad understanding of software deployment, testing and security automation tools
  • Strong analytical abilities are vital for collecting data on areas like waste reduction and sustainable transportation and analyzing the results
  • Knowledge or work experience in collaborating with DevOps team in a product development cycle
Generic Skills & Competencies
  • Experience and familiarity with global urban sustainability programs and policies, with an emphasis on buildings
  • Track record of creating data driven reports, memos and presentations; with a sharp eye for detail
  • Experience working in dynamic, impact orientated environments and a proven track record in meeting deadlines
  • Creative problem-solver paired with the ability to influence and inspire others to achieve objectives.
  • Comfort in navigating ambiguity
  • Willingness to participate in both critical thinking and administrative tasks, operating with a collaborative working style
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, including budgeting, finance, and/or economic analysis, including Excel modelling
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven capacity to synthesize information, develop compelling narratives, and persuasively engage clients and the public
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to independently coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality and project follow-through
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required: Master's degree in business, public policy, urban planning, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience working with city governments or in public sector consulting
