About The Role - To ensure the safety and well being of clients under your charge - To implement and monitor progress of clients individual Care Plan Goals - To be responsible and accountable for the overall wellbeing of clients both in the day ac About The Role - To ensure the safety and well being of clients under your charge - To implement and monitor progress of clients individual Care Plan Goals - To be responsible and accountable for the overall wellbeing of clients both in the day activity centre (DAC) and in the community - To build upon and increase on clients' current abilities vis-a-vis their activities of daily living skills, community living skills, social and interpersonal skills and to integrate them into the community - To maintain open communication with caregivers on understanding the clients' needs and further development - To help clients achieve a higher level of emotional maturity - Any other duties as and when assigned to you. Candidate Requirements Technical Competencies: Relevance working experience of working with People with Disabilities (PWDs) - especially intellectual disability including those with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and epilepsy Good command of English (written and oral) Basic computer knowledge especially Ms Word and Excell Core Competencies: Effective communicator Sociable with good interpersonal skills Proactive, resourceful and organized Adaptable and willing to learn Independent as well as a good team player Preferred achievements / characteristics: Passion, enthusiasm and strong commitment are essential Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
